About me…

I am a sweet and active girl who was rescued in Nepal and am now in Canada and enjoying playing with other Canuck canines.

I just celebrated my 1st birthday with my foster mom and foster siblings.

A couple of the other dogs here and I have become best play pals but I would sure love a furever family of my own. Ideally, one with one youthful and energetic playmate the same size as I am or a little bigger. Hopefully this playmate would be tolerant of some playful nagging and nipping because I love to play and just can not get enough of it. My favorite game is playing pull toy with my furry friends.

I like to have space to run and play freely a lot of the time, like most energetic dogs, this helps to keep my behavior in check. For this reason, I would like to have a fenced in yard. I also do all of my business outdoors.

Even though I would really like to ‘play’ with them, I have not been allowed near the small animals here without supervision. My foster mom says that I have a really strong prey drive, whatever that means.

I would love someone to continue helping me build confidence and focus. Basic obedience training games are awesome!

From my foster mom…

Gypsy is a little sweetheart. She is energetic and curious and likes to carefully watch everything that I do with a cute inquisitive look about her. She is very playful with her furry foster siblings although she is still learning about boundaries.

Gypsy is in need of a family where someone is home most of the time. If you have a fenced in yard and a playful dog who could use some help burning off his/her energy, this cute little firecracker would be a perfect addition.

Gypsy will require an individual or family who is experienced in working with dogs and that will continue to help her build confidence and trust. She does well with routine and positive structure.

Gypsy was rescued in Nepal where she was found tied up and surviving by eating nearby sewage. Her rescuers in Nepal like to hear about Gypsy’s whereabouts and progress. More about her early life history can be obtained from them.
